Education & Coaching
Special Education • Creative Mentorship • Life Skills
I began working with children with special needs at age 12 as a volunteer at a summer camp on the grounds of the A.I. DuPont Institute. That early experience sparked a lifelong commitment to supporting children and families navigating disability, learning differences, and developmental challenges. I later pursued a degree in Special Education and became a public school teacher, continuing to work directly with students of diverse abilities. Over the past 20 years, I have also designed and led inclusive community programs and events for children with disabilities, including creative enrichment activities that foster confidence, social connection, and independence.
My approach combines professional training, creative engagement, and genuine respect for each individual's strengths and potential. My work often blends education, creativity, and community-building. Through programs like my free LEGO® Club for neurodivergent children and other inclusive initiatives, I help create environments where children feel safe, capable, and inspired — while giving families meaningful support and connection.
